CURRENT MISSION

We are Heading to the Houston Art Car Parade and Festival from Seattle to Houston and back to Seattle (the event is April 10-14th 2024) my art car will be part of the event! we seek hosts along the way from seattle to houston then back to seattle (we may stop in nashville after houston to visit a friend of mine also)

Opal Moonstone is an improvisational design with rhinestones on a 2010 Honda Fit. I am delighted to add colors and shapes when I get the urge. I am known in Seattle for painting onto shoes and hats, and giving my hand painted "KringWEAR" shoes to musician Tori Amos, I am known as "Goddess KRING" from public access TV in Seattle and this art car is my current big project. I am an experimental multi media artist. Some of my favorite artists that inspire me are: Antoni Gaudí, Yayoi Kusama, Gustav Klimt, and Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

I use clear Silicone Sealant Glue on my art car. It has taken two years so far and I am still adding to it

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

fairly new to this! have stayed with people and had them stay with me in an unofficial way...and recently stayed in edinburgh scotland for 10 days at two different wonderful flats with people i met via couchsurfing. i had a wonderful time. have not officially hosted anyone yet. open to trying it out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

seeing Gaudi and Hundertwasser buildings in Vienna and Barcelona. going to the Anne Frank Huis in Amsterdam. Seeing Tom Petty live in concert. and Tori Amos too. did a seattle public access tv show called "Goddess KRING" for 15 years. currently working on a doc film about it. happy to share stories on this topic. also painted shoes for tori amos in 1996 and she wore them on stage in seattle. magical night.

What I Can Share with Hosts

would love to share stories on my travels and my life as a full time freelance art model, dog walker, pet sitter and standardized patient for medical students. i also hand paint shoes and have my art car i have been rhinestoning for 2 years.
