I don't have much to say about pop culture, so in a lot of conversations I don't speak a lot. But I love talking about the world, or about books, and I love a good debate.

Make sure you leave more love and truth in the world. Be a source of love and truth, not just a consumer of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always wonderful. I have had the opportunity to encounter people who I will remember forever after just a single weekend together and others whom I have remained friends with for years across continents.

Harry Potter (!), His Dark Materials, Peter Pan, Enders Game, Abarat, and an embarrassing amount of other kids books.
In terms of literature for grownups, see Cyrano de Bergerac, a Midsummer Night's Dream, Antigone, the Mists of Avalon, American Gods and the Discworld books.

Music wise, I like everything. Make me a cd, I'll adore it. Florence and the Machine, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fleetwood Mac are some of my all-time favorites. I'm trying to expand my collection of French music right now if you have any to recommend.

Movies: Stage Beauty, Benny and Joon, Siblings, Arsenic and Old Lace, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Knight's Tale, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Finding Neverland, Hook.

The Fete de lumieres in Lyon blew my mind, especially as I was with an unforgettable group of people I'd only met that day.
I am in love with a little French village in the south (region: Hérault) called La Salvetat-sur-Agoût. Stop by.
It is hard to overstate the kindness of the people of Cambodia. I love it there.
