ABOUT ME

I'm happy as a clam, a busy little bee, and alarmingly energetic. In a contest between me and the Energizer Bunny, the Energizer Bunny would have to admit defeat. I'm interested in just about everything, love having conversations with strangers about anything, and trying to enjoy the world as much as possible.

I smile and laugh with wild abandon, I'm a natural blonde (although I've dyed it a myriad of colors), a bottle of Ito En Rose Green tea or comparing my likeness to Hilary Duff will forever cement you in my good graces, and I'm always up for new anything.

Also, I bring the sparkle; I discovered I naturally produce glitter after finding a piece embedded in my thumb.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everyone I meet in Atlanta seems to be part of this incredible website. Finally, after months of "WHY AREN'T YOU A MEMBER YET?", I realized it was finally a way I could combine my loves of talking to strangers, different cultures, and communication. Not to mention travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Other than my new couch loving friends, I've yet to have what I consider a "true" couchsurfing experience. No couch crashings or hostings for me, unfortunately.

But, if anything, it fuels my desire to find a better living situation as I feel incredibly guilty about potentially crashing on hospitable couches when I have no couch to offer in return.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I could never live without "Just Friends," "Singin' In The Rain," or the "Indiana Jones" series. I am always up for a movie as I positively adore them, especially as the thought of going off to the movies in the mid-afternoon (while everyone else is a slave to the working world) positively thrills me. I am craving to rewatch Errol Flynn's cinematic achievements.

I'm reluctantly attempting to expand my reading genre. It's dominated by (well-written) Chick Lit. At any rate, I guzzle books like SUVs guzzle gasoline.

My ringtone is RBD's "Un Poco de tu Amor," I love practicing Bach inventions, and I've been kissed by Michael Bublé. However, the true test of a song is if I can perform it while driving in my snazzy Volvo 240, Razzle Dazzle Bob. And I'm always looking to expand my repertoire.

I still love visiting old areas and being able to see ruins intertwined with the contemporary. Not to mention surreptitiously touch them. There's something to be said about being able to touch something that's been around longer than most of the roads it took to get there. So far, I've touched Stone Henge, countless piles of rubble in Italy, and Jeff Koons' Balloon Dog.

Tactile history! And I love it.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you how to sing Shakira and RBD songs in Spanish, random songs on the piano, struggle through remedial origami, and how to make Björk's Swan Dress from white trash bags.

I'm willing to learn everything and anything. If you follow astrology at all, you'll find that I'm true to my Gemini sign.

I'm also very good with sharing my toys (hoola hoops, bubbles, etc.).
