Overview
About Me
I am a trained potter making tableware with stoneware clay. My work week is pretty quiet and lonely, but I like it that way. It leaves me lots of energy to give other people in my free time. I am an introvert who needs her downtime.
I like to get to know myself through introspection and interaction with other humans and nature. I am easy-going, warm-hearted, understanding, OCD-organized, open-minded, and passionate about the things I am interested in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was on couchsurfing in my early 20s when I was traveling solo. I really loved the intimate way you could get to know a place you are visiting through a local. Now I am re-animating my account in my early 30s. I am married now so usually traveling with my husband. I am still interested in couchsurfing for the same reason now as back then. It is truly such a different experience than staying at an BnB or hotel, you really feel like to you get to know a place through the eyes of your host.
Interests
I spend most of my time doing pottery. When I am not doing that, I am doing some DIY project at home, woodworking, painting the rooms in my house a different color, making improvements...I am very bad at sitting down and doing nothing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I changed my career abruptly before 30. It was hard to start over from zero but I have never regretted it.
