I'm equally shy and curious; I love to travel and live in different places. I'm lucky enough to do my graduate studies in a relaxed environment, which allows me to do both!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing mainly to host and meet open-minded travellers. We hosted a couple of surfers on the summers of 2012, 2013 and 2014, which was an amazing experience. I've been living in student accommodation since then, so unfortunately haven't been hosting in the last few years.

Interests

I love the outdoors, whether it is just hiking in the woods, cycle touring or rock climbing. I'm also passionate about my work and can bore willing listeners to death if I'm asked about my research project!

Music, Movies, and Books

My choice of a movie depends very much on my mood, but a romantic historical drama is always welcome! When it comes to music, alternative Hungarian bands are my favourite, but I also love English pop/rock. I read a lot for fun and also enjoy discussing some books (especially heavier ones, such as Nabukov's Lolita recently) in our book club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Blue Spring State Park in Florida and canouing on the nearby river with my boyfriend - we even saw an alligator !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be very happy to practice languages, especially German or my (very broken) Czech. I'm also happy to teach you some Hungarian.

I love cooking, especially with others - the odder the dish, the better!
