Shantha: My life goal is to go to as many countries as I can in my lifetime. I have a wanderlust that has yet to be satisfied and I possess a restlessness that cannot be contained. I grew up in many different places as a child and because of that I have never truly felt like I belonged in one place. Perhaps my constant need to explore stems from a desire to find a "home", a place where I finally feel like I belong. My entire adult life has been centered around travel and working my ass of until i have enough money for my next adventure, because nothing else in the world brings me joy like discovering new countries and new cultures.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

We want to try couch surfing because traveling expenses add up quickly and we are not yet prepared to give up on our adventures and we have heard that couch surfing is a great way to travel cheap. One of our favorite things about traveling is meeting new people from all over the world and making connections, which is why we always chose to stay in hostels. However, we think it would be a whole new experience to meet people from the country we are visiting and that it would give us more of an opportunity to immerse ourselves into the culture. Our desire is to not simply pass through a county as tourists, we want to truly learn about each country and its culture, and what better way to learn then to stay in the home of a local!
