About Me

ABOUT ME

Moving in the wild night gazing out towards the delicate leaves gently strumming in the cool winds from the north, listening to the hollow sounds of the hard rocks and old trees, the wild yak forgets about time and the irrelevant infinity of every single thing. Instead he roams in search of becoming what he can achieve, what his mind will let his corporeal being realise - and a moment passes - the wild yak realises we are nothing but passing tides, transitory floating clouds, a dream within life’s ephemeral circle. Running, climbing, balancing – getting up and pushing one self to the edge of the all encompassing cliffs edge - the wild yak will not fall – unearthed in life’s virtues he will roam free in the clear air. With a laden back carrying only what is needed and nothing more, the wild yak will ramble into the unknown whimsically in search of the new, and old and older still. Nothing but the scent of jasmine and all of GreatMother’s aromas will entwine him as he makes his own tracks in the dirt. The wild yak will uphold the pilgrimage as the boundless lust for living, the flickering inferno found in each and every little soul. To find and be content, to be happy, share and smile in all that can possibly be perceived. The wild yak will enclose himself in every beginning and awaken to unfold in every new beautiful unknowing chimera.

I am traveller and teacher looking to explore terra incognita. I am on a journey of inward self expression to find out the true capabilities of what Homo sapiens can achieve on this little green and blue planet we call home. Whilst on the road I am looking to gain further insight into different cultures. Specifically i am is interested in the journey of human migration out of Africa - the evolution of language - ecology and geopolitics. Outside of study i am interested in mountaincraft, cycling, trail running, climbing and slack-lining.
