About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm french, originally from marseille but I've been living in London for almost eight years now. Apart from music which is my main passion and occupation, I have deep interests in spirituality, buddhism (as a philosophy or a way of life, not a religion), martial arts, especially Tai Chi, science-fiction, and slide sports (such as surf, snow and skate board), and any kinds of arts. I also love travelling, meeting new people and discovering new countries/landscapes and cultures. I am also vegetarian.

PHILOSOPHY

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went in Israel with my reggae/ska band, and played gigs in 3 different cities, for a charity. We played for Ethiopians people living in integration centers, I'm not so sure about how this people are treated there, even though they seemed fine when I saw them, and I read controversial things about this. All I know is that they are having troubles in their country of origin and this is the reason why they're moving to Israel. What I know for sure though, is that when we met this people we could speak only english or french and they could speak only ethiopian or hebrew, so we couldn't communicate with words, but we played for them. It was a bit awkward at first cause it was the first time they were listening to amplified music live, but then they started clapping and dancing, and we communicated through the music. That was an amazing experience. We also spend some time playing with the children who were so friendly and full of love, while the other band was playing, and again there is no word to describe how amazing it was to meet those people coming from a completely different environment and culture, and being able just to play and have fun with them so easily, without even be able to speak to each other.

Another great experience I had was working as a the volunteer at Roskilde Festival, in denmark. It's the 3rd biggest music festival in europe, and I helped building the main stage along with 25 other people. We worked more that 120 hours in less than 2 weeks. It was an exhausting but incredible experience, but it will be way too long to talk about it here.
