ABOUT ME

Whimsical! I am a student from Guangdong, China. I am now focusing on Classics, Linguistics and Philosophy in Connecticut College. I like travelling a lot and I have been to 31 countries now. I play classical and acoustic guitar and a bit piano. I also do oil painting, sketching and photography. Usually I am a hiking and train person when I travel and I also hitchhike. Love to meet friends from all over the world!

PHILOSOPHY

Read the books and the world, understand the differences, enjoy every day of my life. The reason why I'd like to travel to every corner of the world is that I believe to travel is to learn to appreciate everything that seems so far away from our daily life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel to new places and to meet the locals or those who are not locals but with their special identities in those places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couchsurfing once in 2012 in Seattle, but the host is a friend of my elder sister. I did another couchsurfing in Salt Lake City, Utah in Jan of 2014. Cousurfed for around 20 days in different cities in Turkey in 2015.

Interests

Life is a journey home. If there is no departure, there will be no new friends or no new sights. I started to hike in my last year of high school and fell in love with mountains ever since. Whenever going on a trip or a hike, I have my camera with me, as the tool of expression. I play robot models, guitar and I paint oil painting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I soloed in Chinese mountains for 7 days and meet someone finally on the day of the last climb, we now become friends and share our stories oftenly.
