About Me
Hi there, My name is Shaon, like 'Sean' but with an 'o'. It's like someone was trying to spell 'shawn' but got a little wild with the vowels. I make a living as a software engineer, but I like to think of myself as a perpetual student. After all, there's always something new to learn, and I don't think I'll ever stop being curious about the world.
Im a person with an insatiable curiosity and love for adventure. You might just find me packing a bag on a whim and go wherever the wind takes me, just for the thrill of experiencing something new. I love to explore new ideas and engage in deep conversations with people around me. There's nothing that gets me more excited than a lively discussion about philosophy/science. I always love hearing different perspectives and learning something new. It's amazing how a simple conversation can broaden your horizons and make you think about things in a different way.. It's the kind of discussion that makes me feel alive and excited to live and keep on learning
Salsa dancing is one of the things I enjoy a lot, and I'm usually up for a night out with friends, laughing and dancing the night away. When I'm not out and about, I love to play video games(very rarely these days!) and try new hobbies. I'm always on the hunt for something new to learn or discover.
History and mythology are some of my favorite subjects to delve into, as I find the stories and legends of our past endlessly fascinating. How various fictions throughout the history has shaped our world from the way we perceive ourselves to the way we understand each other has always been a intriguing subject to me. It's amazing how stories, myths, and legends have influenced our culture, traditions, and even our language. As the saying goes, "We are the stories we tell ourselves," and I believe that understanding the stories of our past is crucial for understanding ourselves.
In a nutshell, I see life as one giant adventure book that's a mix of joy, thrill, risk and discovery. Whether it's exploring different cultures, learning from people, or reflecting on my own thoughts, I'm always searching for ways to grow and improve. I understand that every experience no matter how bad has something to offer, and I make a conscious effort to take these opportunities to learn and develop into a better version of myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing ive done is simply lying down looking at the sky. Then I had one of the most incredible experiences of my life, witnessing a shooting star gliding through the awe-inspiring northern lights. It was an absolutely breathtaking moment that made me realize just how stunning our universe truly is. To see two natural wonders collide in such a beautiful and unexpected way was truly amazing.
And all I had to do for that was to lie down on the snowy grass of Tromso.
