Traveling, Observing, Learning and Evolving.

I have been always enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially ones located in remote areas in midst of lush greenery. The calmness and soothing touch of those places never fail to amuse me. In this process of exploring such places I met numerous people and got to know about their way of living and culture which was in itself a different kind of joy. As it is said that in India at each 15-20 km the language changes and at each 50-100 km culture changes so I see this as an amazing opportunity to experience and share the joy with people by traveling whenever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore and experience the raw culture of places and to connect with wonderful people. I believe everyone has lots and lots of interesting stories and experiences we just need to ignite the starter....who else can do it better than a stranger companion :)

Interests

The connection with mountains started with the Basic Mountaineering Course, which I did in Manali in 2014. It was a rigorous 26 days course with great learnings and amazing experience. Afterward, I started trekking hiking frequently....so far I've explored more than 20 peaks and forts in the Sahyadri range in Maharashtra.

Bikes are my all-time favorite hence road trips as well. Given a choice, I would always go on a road trip to unexplored sanctuaries and natural locations in different parts of the country. In fact I've done that to a significant extent in Gujarat and Maharashtra.

I have been exploring street photography as a hobby since my college days... it has been 6 years and maybe 50000+ photos :P
