Full time journalist, part-time traveller born and brought up in Calcutta. I used to lead treks in the lower Himalayas, and work in the theatre. I believe I am a liberal person, who believes in the simultaneous existence of multiple perspectives.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After traveling for a while, I kind of believe this that to understand a place really well, you got to do three things
-Make a friend, who is a local
-Drink the local brew, preferably in a local bar
-Stray aimlessly

I have spend my time around in backpacker's hostels, and they're great places to bond with new people, but I want to try couchsurfing and see the places around me from a first person perspective.

Intereses

I run mostly on adrenaline. Once I get through the rush, nothing seems more calm and peaceful. Once I am there, I keep my eyes open, and that's when I come across art and culture. Trust me they're everywhere. You just need to look.
