Hi guys!!
Wow, I've certainly never done this before - well not on this side of the fence anyway!
My housemates in Port Douglas and I have hosted about 25 groups/individual couch surfers over time, but I have never thought of signing up to become a couch surfer myself... However I am due to kick off on an, indefinite journey, of exploration and soul nurturing adventures!!
I am a kiwi gal (New Zealander) who lives in Australia - I have a magical life in the tropics of Queensland and at the age of 32, with a career change in motion, I'd love to finally see the world in all it's glory.
I recently did a month stint in Japan and chilled out in Bali for awhile before coming to experience the wonderful world of Italy, Croatia, Greece, Spain, UK and Portugal for a few months July til October.
I am unable to obtain a working visa (too old!), so I am hoping to meet some very welcoming and beautiful locals along the way that have a space for me to lay my head at night, explore the culture, cities with and to ensure I see the real beauty.
I look forward to all the connections that are about to be made...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently achieved the UNESCO World Heritage, Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route in Japan.
A 65.5km hike, through forest, villages, creeks, highways, tunnels and mountain tops, 29 hours of challenging moments over 6 days. All this, including an Onsen circuit of pure muscle bliss..
These are the things that nuture the soul to help us grow within ourselves.
I've learnt to forgive but never forget, believe in myself and my journey, trust in the universe and have faith that everything is always going to okay. It will turn out exactly how it's meant too.
