ABOUT ME

We are a homeschooling family (non religious) living in a bay side suburb of beautiful Brisbane. I work in a museum and my husband is a computer professional. With two boys aged 12 and 15, our home is sometimes rowdy, chaotic, busy and usually lots of fun. We would like to offer our spare room to visitors as we would like our children to experience and learn about other countries and cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Natural Learning family. Our kids don't go to school, they learn at home by following their interests and having fun.

Have just had my first experience of staying with someone else and it was amazing!

Interests

I am into creating things, cooking, walking my dog and going on bike rides with my boys. Computer games, lego and playing music are also popular activities in our house.
NOT into smoking, drugs or heavy drinking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding on the back of a motor scooter through Hanoi! (If you have seen the traffic in Hanoi you will understand how amazing this is!)
