Hi!

I'm new to the couch-surfing phenomenon, but my friends have raved about it, so I figured I'd give it a shot :)

I'm a radio producer for the podcast 99% Invisible where I ended up after a few months working for TED Radio Hour, Morning Edition, and Weekend Edition at NPR. I've been a touring musician with a couple a cappella groups (been to about 30 countries and 30 states or so). I also write and sing my own music--mostly folk with some jazz influences. I love Thai food and I love slow lorises and I'm not sure what else I should include??? But that seems sufficient :)

Books: Be Here Now, Galapagos, Ishmael. Like a lot of non-fiction. Right now I'm reading a book about how maps can be made to deceive us

hmmm...I met Obama in the Whitehouse once for a scholarship ceremony thing...I told him happy father's day when he shook my hand because I figured he'd be more likely to remember me (it was near father's day, so I don't think I came off as completely crazy).
