About Me

I am an open person and love to learn about people and the world. Sometimes, I can be very quiet, but sometimes I don't stop talking =D.
I usually keep calm even when things go wrong. In the end everything always works out. And it does not take much to make me happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because it is a great opportunity to meet kind people from all over the world, no matter whether you are at home or travelling. I had some great experiences with that and hope that there are many more to come.

Interests

I love nature and the outdoors. Hiking in the forest is a great way to relax for me. In the months of summer, I usually cycle everywhere. I have just taken up slacklining and mountain biking. I like to try new stuff.
I like to cook. Usually quite spicy and with a lot of vegetables. If you like that, I might make you my guinea pigs to try it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I loooved Metro 2033 and the sequel Metro 2034 by Дмитрия Глуховского. I could not put them down and was in a 3 hours down after I completed it (all good things come to an end =D ).
I am a great series addict. I love Firefly and Sherlock and comedy series like New Girl or You're the worst.
I like listening to music. My playlist is too diverse to describe it though. Check my vk profile, if you want to get and idea. https://vk.com/id153687501
Apart from that, I like to listen to podcasts. My favorite is Hr2 Der Tag. It is a German radio program discussing political, social and cultural topics usually paired up with some piece of literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was an NSC in a medium sized LARP camp in the German forest. A weekend of hitting each other with foam weapons. The organisation committee had some great ideas: We roasted a pig in a hole, built up a a wood cabin as an outlaw camp and had a "cremation" on a lake.

Teach, Learn, Share

Obviously, I can teach you German. When I in Kassel, I make a quite good tour guide and tell you everything you want to know and you don't want to =D.
I would like to learn everything. Sometimes, I am lagging patience though. Currently, I am studying bengali - because of a boy =).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an open person and would like to share my life experiences, but also yours. I think I can be a good listener.
There are rumors that I cook well.
