I currently in Harpenden, Hertfordshire (UK). I have just finished some work in London and am off to Morzine for the Winter!

I'm half-dutch and lived in Amsterdam for year. I highly recommend it to anyone unless you don't like having a good time..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met someone through couch surfing for drinks and to get familiar with a place but never stayed / hosted anyone.... yet!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never stayed with anyone or hosted anyone, however have met a few people for drinks, mainly a big group in Stockholm for a night out which was great fun! Never would have seen half the fun bars that we did if it wasn't for meeting someone local.

Interests

Errr.... having a good time, going out for decent food / drink, going to the cinema, the odd bit of sport, computer games, watching films, listening to music, going on holiday. The usual kind of stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love comedies, action films, all sorts really! Of course got to love Star Wars and the Lord Of The Rings films. All the Pixar stuff is good fun. Some classics like Braindead, Hellraiser.... loads really!

In terms of music, really enjoying the Black Eyed Peas album E.N.D at the moment. Listen to all sorts though. Was enjoying some ZZ Top earlier :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A ski season in Whistler with my girlfriend. Great time and fantastic to live in a resort for a whole season!

Seeing the midnight sun and looking out into the Arctic Ocean at the top of Europe from the Nordkapp in Norway. It was midnight and still bright daylight - quite awesome!

Ridge soaring in a glider and barely missing my mate zip the other way past me at 70mph..... could have been messy!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're struggling to light a fire, make sure you have some dry wood or make some "twists" from a newspaper to get it going otherwise you might be sitting there all night. Build it up so that you can get the air to it.
