ABOUT ME

My mother calls me her wanderlust child. I've been living in Austin, Texas for 7 years, except that I spent one of those years in Washington, D.C. Until recently, I had a corporate job in downtown Austin. I quit that job to take some time off travel before I start graduate school in the Fall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure I understand this field. Sorry--new to this site. Currently I'm looking to do some couchsurfing, as I'm traveling. But I would also like to host once I get back to Austin in the Fall.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I let a band stay with me for free during SXSW a few years ago. I assumed that, like most bands that infiltrate Austin during this festival, they probably sucked. But they actually were really great, and now have been touring the world. They were also super cool. That was fun. Recently I've been crashing on friends' couches in various cities. I have very nice friends.

Folk and indie music. Authors: Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Gore Vidal. I like documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I adopted 12-year-old cat siblings. I'm told that this is very rare, as most people want younger cats, and that these cats probably would have died without me, or at the very least would have been separated. They <3 me.
