About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To broaden my worldview...to experience as much as I can and to grow as much as I can from what I experience.

ABOUT ME

I am someone who follows her gut instinct and feels that life is meant to be an adventure. If an opportunity presents itself to me that seems like it'd be a positive challenge or experience, I usually take it.

PHILOSOPHY

When you're simply living life you get into the middle of something and afterward, you don't remember how you got there or what you did exactly, you just know that you smiled while doing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed in the past and would like to do both again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted once in Terre Haute, IN, several times in Chicago, and once in Indianapolis.

I have surfed in Chicago, St. Louis, Boston, and Flagstaff, AZ.

Interests

People! Places! Things! (Mostly people.)

More specifically, I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, conversation, witnessing artistic expression in various forms, I am especially fond of photography, poetry, and children's books, hmmm...what else do I like? preparing food, thrift store shopping, listening to music, going to low key music venues and the likes, swinging on swing sets, boating, being outside...

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy these things on occasion, yes. For example, Bjork is a musician who inspires me to be more human. Harold and Maude is a movie which inspires me to embrace life. On the Road by Jack Kerouac is a book which inspires me to travel, and to accept people as they are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rescued a little boy's Easter egg on a public bus and chased him down the street to return it. I have never seen so much gratitude and amazement in a person's eyes. I truly felt like a hero.
