Music, Movies, and Books
I love Jim Butcher's series throw me into fantasy worlds. Along with JK Rowling, CS Lewis, C Paolini and delving into other authors' make belief worlds. Currently reading Timothy Keller & CS Lewis. Fave books last year were Yuvul Harari's Sapiens & Homo Deus.
Music- listen to a lot of Chinese Pop music. Ed Sheeran +++ Matchbox twenty, Lifehouse, Coldplay, The 1975 mostly soft rock/ alt rock. Classical music calls out to me sometimes. Used to play a chinese lute in a chinese orchestra.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure if it's amazing or stupid- but once hiked up the 'prohibited' part of the Great Wall of China, and stayed overnight there- the part of it that's not opened to tourists- with just a sleeping bag and phone torch. It was pitch black- the sky was littered with stars- but most times, I was chasing away rats with a torch. The view was breathtaking though.
Saw the delivery of triplets- was quite a marvel.. and a pretty rare opportunity I think!
