Sharon: I'm an excitement loving, entrepreneurial person! I'm high energy, enjoy seeing new things and am always on the lookout for the next experience. I fence internationally and my hobbies include gaming, slalom rollerblading and painting. I'm interested in renewable energy technologies, entrepreneurship, and east asian studies. I recently graduated from Princeton University with a degree in economics and I'm looking to travel around the world before settling down. Last summer I worked as a product manager at a tech gaming firm in San Francisco called Zynga, and I am hoping to work at a startup next year.

Luke: Luke is a quiet, intelligent mechanical engineer that knows everything about motorcycles and cars! He has built an electric motorcycle and electric racecar for competitions. Luke is from rural Vermont, and can tell you some great stories about chopping firewood, building his own cedar-strip canoe, making maple syrup, and much more. He also recently graduated from Princeton University and is going to work at Ford Motor Company next year on hybrid electric vehicles, his dream job!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi! We are new to couchsurfing, and we want to see and do as many things as possible in the world! Experiencing different cultures and environments is the best way to become a truly educated and tolerant individual. We love new and exciting experiences! We are doing a 1.5 month trip to Europe this summer, hoping to hit up France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Iceland, and more.

As for myself- if I have a good experience couchsurfing, I will definitely accept guests once I settle down in my new job!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love dubstep violin and modern instrumental music like Escala and Lindsey Stirling. Big fan of listening to movie soundtracks and epic music.

Movies: Too many to list! Miyazaki films are just wonderful- Howl's moving castle, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away are among my favorites. Also like the Bourne trilogy, Batman series, Phantom of the Opera, Red Cliff, and all those recent action superhero movies.

Books: I love almost all fantsy and science fiction books. Among my favorites are- Redwall, Enders Game, The Golden Compass series, The Foundation, Pendragon, etc. I also really enjoyed The Kite Runner and The Power of One.
