About Me

Humble and appreciative of the simple things in life.
I just enjoy travelling and experiencing new adventures, be it on the tourist trail or in a regional area.
I feel most at home, when i'm not at home. Perhaps it's living out of a back pack or maybe its the feeling of being a stranger in someone's home town, i'm not sure, but what ever it is I am totally addicted to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically, I'm not ready to go home and i want to extend this travelling life....so yes it is money driven.
However, part of travelling is meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences. I love sitting around with a beer or wine and learning of other peoples adventures, recommendations and advice.

Music, Movies, and Books

I honestly appreciate all music types (well, i have a low tolerance of Country and Western haha), but my most favourite genre is reggae (traditional, new, old, variants, generally all aspects of it). Of course there is a time and place for genres and i appreciate that.
I don't watch a lot of movies or TV. So i am definitely not up to speed with any Netflix series or latest watching trends.
And books are a smattering of choices.... true crime, sci-fi, self help, travel guides, mystery or romance. I usually read what someone has recommended to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I consider myself lucky and fortunate to have done many amazing things - i'm a believer of trying everything once.
But 3 times i have packed up my life in Australia and gone on extended adventures, and i consider that to be pretty amazing that i have been able to do it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Officially i am teaching English. A skill i learnt this year and became qualified to do. So, if you need help learning then i am more that happy to help.
Learn - Learning is how we grow and become better people. We must learn from all experiences. And this is how we grow into better people.
Share - And if learning is how we become better people then sharing is caring. It's being respectful of those that are around us and helping others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As mentioned, i can assist with improving your English (if you want), i am happy to cook meals for my hosts and of course share stories of my life.... some of it might not be so interesting but if you want to know i am always happy to provide the answers.
