Resumen
Sobre mí
I'm a university student from Canada, currently finishing my degree in human kinetics! I've been pretty lucky and have had lots of opportunities to meet people from all over the world, but I've never couchsurfed before.
I would describe myself as a slow traveler- I could never fit a whole city trip in two days! A lot of times when I'm traveling, I enjoy just stopping at a park or great monument to sketch or write. I probably spend most of my time in coffee shops and cafes when I'm traveling! I'm a big believe of being a 'citizen of the world', purchasing local, and supporting the holistic movement!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I've yet to have my first couchsurfing experience but I've always been pretty curious. I love meeting people when I stay at hostels so I think couchsurfing would be a greater version of that! I love the idea of meeting a local, because living abroad has made me realize that the cultural differences are greater but more subtle than I ever imagined. I always look to TripAdvisor for recommendations when I'm abroad, but realistically it's only tourists reviewing things for other tourists.
Intereses
I love cooking, baking, and learning languages. I'm also getting into photography, but I wouldn't say I know very much. Working out is a big priority of mine too, regardless if it's going for a run, doing yoga, weight lifting, or just playing a match with friends. I've been a competitive cheerleader my whole life and played rugby for a while too.

Música, películas y libros
TV: Game of Thrones, Suits, Fresh off the Boat, How to Get Away with Murder
Movies: The Illusionist, Toy Story 3, The Godfather, Transformers (it's a random selection, I know)
Books: this is super cheesy but I really really enjoyed Eat Pray Love and I'm currently going through a travel-genre phase. I'm currently reading Kafka, but I really enjoyed Paris and A Moveable Feast.
Music: I love smooth jazz, but I also love dancing to Chainsmokers, driving to Justin Bieber, or just hanging out to Matoma, so it really depends on my mood!
Algo increíble que he hecho
I went to Marrakech by myself and rode a camel! But I wouldn't do the camel part again though, the camels definitely don't enjoy being harnassed...
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I have a great ear for listening, very experimental cooking skills, and some pretty funny travel stories too!
