ABOUT ME

My name is Sharon, or you can call me Shiau Yun as in mandarin.
In 2009, my French degree brought me to Nice, a beautiful place where I call my second home, there, I discover the passion of my life and what kind of life I want to be living in.
Sometimes I think that if I never went there, I couldn't have learned so much about myself, and that's what I believe what travel will always bring us--self discovery. I consider myself very lucky to have had traveled to a few different places at a young age and I'm grateful for the on-growing thirst for wanting to see more and the cultural curiosity that encourages me to do more.

Apart from traveling and having a good time, I'm also passionate about art and design. I believe art is not just something you buy in the galleries, it's a way of living, a way of thinking, i choose to see the beautiful side of everything, including the challenges and the obstacles because they too, are part of life's journey. Working as a card designer/illustrator, I find inspirations in nature, music, people...everywhere in this wonderful, exhilarating life. Ever heard of people saying "do what you love and love what you do"? True story of my life.

I live my life with adventure and happiness always on my mind, I dare myself to work better, play harder and laugh louder everyday. Believing that everything happens for a reason, I trust that the right people and the right opportunities will always cross my path.
Now I'm currently living in Beijing working as a freelance designer and as usual, always aspiring to be a positive influence towards others, inspire people to live to their greatest potentials, for in this way, I learn how to live to mine fully!
