ABOUT ME

I am teaching the local Trieste (Italy) children how to speak English with a kiwi accent. I cannot keep still for long and if i were a rich man i would become a professional voyager. I do not want to atrophy in front of the television or computer, and my biggest challenge in this last period has been trying to maintain a healthy relationship with these things. I think optimism is my greatest strength.

books: fave book ever read is A Fine Balance- made me appreciate what i have! Movies I love and have loved are everything by Bertolucci, Kusturica, and anything that makes me cry. Music: appreciate anything which demonstrates fine musicianship.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing, maybe not, but highlights have been playing frisbee on the Mongolian Plains, walking from village to village in the Himalayas, and watching a lady try to get into a parking space, which was obviously too small, for exactly 5.4 minutes. (maybe more amazing that i watched for that long)

i will usually ask you for the complete history of your country starting from Roman times and onwards so don't be disarmed when it happens. Can teach you how to floss properly, and happy to give reflexology if you ask. but you probably won't.
