Currently I'm traveling around Asia/ Australia. Just left Australia after spending the last 9 months there. Traveled most of the country, working in different places. At the moment I'm spending time in Bali and then I'm off to Japan/ Taiwan / the Phillipines.
Before leaving my home in the Netherlands I spend most of my time working as a nurse on a oncology ward, meeting up with friends and reading/going to concerts/ going out to dinner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like everyone else here on couch surfing I love to meet new people and exchange experiences and good conversations. One of the most important things I love about traveling is getting to know / experiencing different cultures. What better way to do that then surfing with locals or hosting people as a local!

Interests

I love to laugh and I have a big catalogue full of terrible jokes that I still find funny. But I can immensely enjoy more serious conversations about politics, different religions etc.
Would love to visit some places where I can listen to some local music.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books must be the whole Harry Potter series. I mean everyone of my age has grown up with those books.
I've re-read Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer 8 times by now. It hurts that my first copy of the book is almost falling apart...

I love all kinds of music.
Some days I spend listening to classical music but one of the best concerts I've visited was when Eminem played in Wembley last year!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rafting on the Nile river in Uganda. Adrenaline filled day. Might be one of the best days in my life!
Visiting Iran, what an amazing country and such heartfelt hospitality!
