Overview
About Me
Howdy. I live in Fort Collins/Denver, Colorado but spend a lot of time bumming around the world. I co-founded and work for a non-profit called the Denver Tool Library that gives people tools for real cheap. At home I like to swim in nearby lakes/rivers, camp, splitboard, go to local shows, camp, and play drums in a band that tours the globe.
On the road my mornings usually involve sitting, reading, writing, learning, and all that healthy stuff - while my nights often involve picking your brain, listening to loud music, talking, drinking the local drink, and all that dumb stuff. I like everything from dim lit jazz ensembles to dusty smelly punk rock shows to top 40 clubs - anything that is executed with passion and could make for a good story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The people I've met while floating through hostels, playing shows in old bars, being lost on a bus, or just hanging in a hammock in the mountains lead to some of the best experiences I've ever had. Couchsurfing is a good tool to meet and organize with this community of people.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Not sure how to say all this, so "contact me if..."
-you are looking for advice for the more "off the beaten path" things to do in Colorado (aka - not Rocky Mountain National Park).
-you would like to share views about where you are from, culture, politics, religion, etc over a coffee or beer.
-you would like to see the mountains of Colorado! I have a truck and try to get out as much as possible into less frequented spots to camp, swim, or just set up a hammock at. I love to have people come with!
-if you are looking for a place to stay, there is a chance I can help you out, but my situation is constantly changing.
