Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was referred by a friend from the Netherlands who lived and worked with me in Jamaica for a couple years. I like the idea of seeing what daily life is like from someone living in other nations and also to better learn to communicate in their language and share English with them.

I love all types of music with maybe rock and heavy metal being exceptions. I like war movies ( historical and fantasy) and I like a good comedy or romance film. I enjoy reading from John Grisham and Dan Brown. Some other authors I read from include Joanna Throllop and Randy Pausch

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to pick one but for now I will have to say Diving with Bull sharks!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like the opportunity to teach someone English, as I have a very good grasp of the language and doing so will also test my skills in patience. I would like to learn and be fluent in both Spanish and Dutch. Jamaican cuisine is very spicy and I would love to prepare traditional Jamaican meals for someone.
