Im 22 years old and enjoy visiting new places and trying new things. My parents are from Cape Town and Kampala respectively and spent much of their lives migrating around the world(they met in mozambique) and properly immersing themselves in different cultures. This is something they have passed on to me and my brother too.

My philosophy is to spread love, be respectful of others and do what I can to make the world a better place. This has worked pretty well for me so far and I have had an amazing life full of enriching experiences.

I am new to this app but was recommended it by a friend and really like the concept so am excited to give it a go. I'm fairly well travelled and find that staying with locals makes the trip so much better as you get a more wholesome experience of the place.

I study electrical/electronic engineering and have a keen passion for sustainability and in particular renewables. The reason being that I want to spend my professional career tackling energy poverty in the developing world and hopefully improve the lives of the forgotten children if this world.

I'm a very friendly and social person so ideally I want to find host's who are up for interesting conversations and can also joke around. Although not essential, it would also be cool if the host is able to spend some time with me so that we form a friendship; this can be just sitting on the couch (my bed) chatting or going out on an adventure. I'm happy to party too.
I would love to stay with someone who could teach me something (e.g. yoga)!

However, I am also independent and will happily stay out of your way if you are busy.

Love travelling. The party-hostel vibe can be fun, but I'd rather stay with interesting people who are adventurous and have cool stories to tell. Furthermore, I'd love to host people at my place when they are in need as it would be fun to meet some travellers every so often.
