ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Shashi, having a lot of interest in culture,literature and theater. I.I enjoy the funnier and brighter side of life.I work as an academician enlightening young minds, and as a researcher in capacity building of water managers. Studied Civil/Agricultural Engineering in Karnataka and Punjab in India.Have delivered lectures on Indian/Kannada literature in many literary festivals and published some stories.Enthusiastic Yoga and Meditation practitioner.Worked with experts from Europe and USA while carrying out some projects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to meet CS community members on my visits to different places. I learn a lot of things from them,share my experiences and I invite them to the most popular historical places like Badami and Bijapur near my home. When I visit abroad,I try to contact the CS community members to guide me about stay and travel plans,if it is convenient to them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some couch surfers from Germany and surfed the couches at Paris,Montpelier and Nice in France. Within India, hosted surfers from Assam and surfed the couch at Lucknow. My each couchsurfing experience enriched my life and made me a better person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught computer skills to irrigators' groups and water management staff.The enthusiasm and gratitude shown by them once they were capacitated was incredible!
