Overview
About Me
I am a student in Clinical Nutrition and preparing for grad/medical school. I am a registered yoga teacher and a self-taught cook. One of my favorite things about traveling, aside from meeting new people is experiencing new foods and being inspired by local culture. I love learning the history of dishes and sharing my own recipes. I will happily cook for you or teach you yoga!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't like to travel like a tourist. I like to travel by becoming intimate with local life. I feel this is the only way to even begin to understand cultures outside of my own.
Interests
I am interested in all things related to food and health. I love to be outside, be it running, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, kayaking, etc.
I love to read and hear stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I, along with my boyfriend, catered a 10 day Natural Buildings workshop in a country kitchen with no dishwasher or garbage disposal. We fed twenty people three meals a day on a budget of $10 per person per day.
I've completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training that included 36 hours of noble silence and 8 hours of meditation. I hope to do a Vipassana someday (10 days of noble silence)
I also work in a lab at my univerisity studying nutrient uptake in infants and bioactive proteins in human milk.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share food, stories, and yoga. I also love children and animals.
