About Me

CURRENT MISSION

1. Visiting every country
2. Reading every book in the whole world
3. Making every single person I meet laugh

I'm a 24 year old Maltese, and I'm currently backpacking around Asia! After I finished my studies at University and spent a year working, I decided to pack and head out here to learn more of these beautiful countries.

I am very adventurous as a person, and I love pushing myself - challenges are a good way of strengthening your mind! I love reading as well, you can say it's my biggest passion, and something I love doing as much as reading is collecting books! I also write, sometimes poems and sometimes small pieces, and it's a dream of mine to have something published in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling to new places, and my favourite thing to do is speaking to locals, getting to learn more about the lifestyle, beliefs and routines of the area.

Interests

Books - I love reading and collecting books. My favourite genre is fantasy - I'm obsessed on stories such as The Inheritance Cycle (Christopher Paolini), Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling), A Song of Ice and Fire (George R.R. Martin), His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman), and basically every book written by Stephen King.

Teaching - I worked as an EFL teacher a few summers ago, and I can say it has been the most amazing experience I've went through. The people I meet, the laughs I create, the knowledge I pass on and the happiness I leave is something which fills my heart with joy.

Adventure - I have been a Scout for 17 years and counting, and it is probably what instilled this love for adventure in me. Be it camping, trekking, rock-climbing, or simply coming up with anything to pass the time, I'm up for it.

Music - I have been to three music festivals and a fair number of concertsnow, and they taught me how music is what gives me the strength to keep on going. There really are no words that can explain my love for music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - quite a varied taste, but my favourite would be rock. My favourite artists include Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Lights, Linkin Park, etc.
Movies - Anything which relates to fantasy or thriller!
Books - Too many to choose from, but my favourite author would be Stephen King, and my favourite set would be The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini (Eragon).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Olasiti, Kenya - an incredible experience which has taught me so much, and completely changed my mindset for the rest of my life.
