This is long overdue for a re-write. I'll get there, but in short, I live in Melbourne and welcome all guests. Below is what I wrote while travelling in 2015.

Having spent the best part of the last decade pursuing an athletic career, I thought I needed to start a career in the 'real world'. It didn't take me long to realise that that's not the path I want to take. I came to Israel at the start of the year on a volunteering program and am loving travelling around the country. I went to spain for a couple weeks and would love to see more of Europe!
I am starting a program in September learning about permaculture and eco design and will take my new found knowledge back to Australia where I plan to help people integrate sustainability and eco designs into their urban lifestyles.
Before I left Australia I was an avid cyclist and couldn't go more than a day without a ride. I like to race every now and then, but usually to be first to the cafe.
I love the outdoors, especially the beach in the summer, where you'll find me equally happy thrashing around in the waves as I am snoozing on the beach.
Ill choose brunch over dinner every time and I've become somewhat of a coffee snob with a few favourite spots around st kilda (although I am happy to sample new cafes)
I have a lazy streak in me too and can happily sit on the couch watching sitcom seasons or light hearted movies when the weather is not great outside(pretty often in Melbourne winter)

Travelling and meeting new people! And the best kind people! So far, everyone I have met through couch surfing have been so incredibly friendly and inspiring!

I'm currently reading 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance' and loving it. Love anything written by Orwell and have enjoyed most of Paulo Coehlo's books.

Favourite movies - every Christopher Nolan movie I have seen! Fight club, Sin City, Old School, Zoolander.

Love Entourage and The Office. Just started Parks and Rec.

Also a trained personal trainer, so I can advise on most things related to fitness and nutrition.

I'd love to learn yoga and guitar and started learning some acroyoga recently, which id love to keep practicing!
