About Me

I am 25 year old adventurer who is passionate about seeing the world, connecting with new people, and feeling alive! Most of the year I attend Dental school at UBC in Vancouver, but whenever I have a break from that you can find me in the mountains, on the ocean, or someplace around the world experiencing an exciting new culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great network connecting travelers with those who travel (generally). One of my favorite aspects of travel is meeting locals, and getting a true home grown feel of the places that I am exploring. Meeting with locals through couchsurfing is a fantastic avenue to do this. This isn't just one sided though, and when I am home I love being able to host a great experience for people exploring my country and neighborhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While I was backpacking through Nepal in 2015, I was in Pokhara during the massive earthquake that caused so much tragedy and destruction. The Canadian government was sending exacuation planes to get Canadian citizens out of the country, but instead of leaving I decided to gether some backpackers I had met on my travels and stay to help the locals in distress. We started a relief campaign called Backpackers For Nepal, and working closely with a small local sect of the Red Cross in Pokhara we were able to provide much needed shelter, warmth and food to people stranded in remote villages. Through international fundraising efforts we became one of the biggest independent aid campaigns and were able to help hundreds of locals living in rural and remote villages in the mountains of Nepal.
