About Me
Seven years ago I moved to Berlin and made it my new home.
People have described me as genuine, wise, funny, and the "least British person from Britain I have ever met" (from a Brazilian... I took it as a compliment)
I am in some ways an introvert, but I love nothing more than connecting with others or holding the attention of an audience. To live life to its fullest, you have to risk yourself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Life is more fun when I open it to other people's adventures
Interests
I love to make music, and have been writing and playing a lot since moving to Berlin.
For work, I coach people who are making products (usually apps). I help them work better with designers and engineers, learn how to experiment, and to build something meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books
Where to begin? I grew up listening to Radiohead and The Beatles. I love experimental artists like Brian Eno, Nils Frahm and Talking Heads (one of my favourite films is Stop Making Sense). And I listen a lot to troubadours old and new, like Bob Dylan, Frightened Rabbit and Sufjan Stevens.
I love recommendations of all kinds, especially music. It's cool to have strangers from another land interrupt my own bubble with whatever they're into.
Films: 2001 Space Odyssey, Mulholland Drive, Spirited Away, any well-told character story (Almost Famous, I Tonya, Moonrise Kingdom, Nocturnal Animals). We often project films onto the big white wall in our living room!
Books: A Whole Life, The Undoing Project, Sum, Things the Grandchildren Should Know, Breakfast of Champions, and podcasts like Heavyweight, S-Town and Reply All, which may not be books, but tell wonderful stories all the same.
