ABOUT ME

I'm a patriotic American that can't stand living in America. So I probably have identity issues. I love being outside (if it's warm) and playing sports. I stay up to date with international current events and try to be environmentally aware. I am nuts about travelling, usually with a backpack and at a slow pace. I love learning languages and hanging out with people trying to talk to them about their daily life in their language.

PHILOSOPHY

I have had an amazing experience couchsurfing in Europe. I have been truly blessed by wonderful strangers that are now friends. What a great idea!!

Climbing up to the rim of the Rinjani volcano on Lombok, and looking inside to see another world.

I could teach people how to read and write Arabic, Hebrew, and Korean script. I can also teach people how to cook a few Cuban dishes I learned from my father. I can give you a Thai massage. I need to practice cause I finished massage school and don't want to forget!
