ABOUT ME

I'm someone who wants to feed both the adult and the child in me. I enjoy the responsibilities and opportunites of being a rational 'adult' being; but know that i won't feel whole unless i also satisfy the emotional child that society encourages us to forget.

Feeding the child is in fact the one thing that challenges & pushes me out of my comfort zone the most. It takes courage to look inside and let him out...

At the end of the day, I genuinely love people (and it's taken time to genuinely realise that!). Without others, life would be painful and empty. Most of what we understand is learnt from others ... especially our own self-understanding.

I want to travel, meet more people, further experience ways of living & understanding and savour existence.

Couch-sleep can sometimes be more comfortable than sleep in a bed! Some couches are amazing for that. Like they have an aspiration to serve as more than just one type of furniture.

Interests

Hanging-out, talking philosophy into the wee hours, tea & toast at 5am, seriousness, stupidity and fun!

Exploring nature, beauty, cultures, places, cities, temples, the unknown, photography, writing screenplays, watching films, relaxing, finding calm, having food/dinner at home, listening to music, making genuine friendships, trying to eat well and stay fit.

Being challenged, stretched, pushed out of my comfort zone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a tall pillar of rock in the middle of an oasis in Mauritania in the Sahara Desert at sunset, to find that it was the perch of an eagle, from where I could see for miles into sandy nothingness....
