ABOUT ME

I was born and brought up in a smalltown, would rather say its a big village called madurai with its beautiful temple flocked by tourists.

I have travelled around india a little, mostly with my friends. In korea, i started travelling with random people, who became friends. one such friend introduced couchsurfing to me.

I moved to the US in 2012 and living in NJ now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been surfing and hosting for a while now. I have had extremely awesome experiences and extremely awe full experiences. But that is life, isn't it? if there is no darkness, we wouldn't feel how good light is. I only take the positive things from life and so i am still on CS :)

I am interested in history/culture which motivates me to travel and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am bit choosy about books. I prefer Non-fiction books over crime/thriller ones. If it is fiction i read the ones with a cultural background.
Music- depends on my mood, I listen everything from jazz to death metal and a whole lot of Indian music.

Movies, i watch comedy movies a lot( often repeatedly). Apocalypto, Babel, The constant gardener are some of my favourite serious movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a solo road trip from Pennsylvania to Florida and back for my spring break 2014. I visited about 10 states and made a lot of friends!

Teach, Learn, Share

I sometime teach my guests how to make south-Indian dishes. i enjoy it.
I learn about other cultures, languages and their cuisines
