ABOUT ME

I enjoy life in general! I've lived in calgary my whole life (sadly) and just finished my undergraduate degree at the university of calgary. Now that I have a respectable job and am done with school, I'm saving up some money to travel. My traveling experiences are mainly limited to Canada and the states, and include camping trips, as well as a bike trip from calgary to kelowna (approx 600km of pedaling!). I enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing, snowshoeing etc. in the rocky mountains and would love to share the mountains with travelers. I'm a friendly, outgoing and happy human and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm a big fan of music festivals and merriment and have been to Burning man, Shambhala, Sasquatch, Fozzy Fest and Folk fest (numerous times). Bottom line, my roomates and I are pretty easy going and enjoy going out and meeting new people. Our door is always open :)

We've had our couch open to surfers for about a year now. I love the philosophy of couch surf and am always excited to meet new people and help them travel cheaply

We've hosted around 10 people in the last year and never had a bad experience!

Interests

I'm interested in meeting new people and having a good time! I play soccer and enjoy running, biking, tennis, badminton, hiking, backpacking, skiing, ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, swimming etc. Also, once I have enough money saved up, I want to travel. My first two destinations will be South america and south east asia
