ABOUT ME

I'm half Malaysian & English, I grew up in Malaysia and looove my country, moved to England for university to study Wildlife Conservation. I started couchsurfing while at uni but now I've graduated and am living back in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm easy going, friendly and love meeting new people! However, I live with my family again so not able to host right now. But soon... I'll get back on the hosting bandwagon :)

I love nature and animals especially. I have a really big soft spot for dogs, so now that I'm reunited with my 4 mongrels life couldn't be sweeter.

I've spent the past year managing a community project on the beautiful Perhentian Islands, North Peninsular Malaysia. Best experience ever working with the islanders and tourists to raise environmental awareness and help sustainably develop the community. This year (2016) I decided the next step for me is to travel southeast asia getting my hands on different wildlife projects so I can gain experience and contribute skills where I can.

HOBBIES

I LOVE sports; I currently play the national gaelic football team in Kuala Lumpur. is also my other passion. I'm a big yoga fan, haven't had the chance to do anything big with it yet but I'm hoping in the future to explore it further :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Lille, France with a friend and in Athens, Greece. Though of course when I do more traveling I want to couchsurf everywhere!

I've also hosted twice in my house in Canterbury, along with my housemates. Great company and lovely people :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked up a mountain in Indonesia for 2 months tracking released Javan slow lorises - the experience was magical. It made me test myself, and allowed me to watch these beautiful creatures roam the wild. It taught me to be patient, respectful and assured me that the rainforest is where I want to be
