ABOUT ME

I'm 26 and originally from Chicago where I was born and raised only 12 miles from the Loop in downtown. I go to school at Arizona State University and only 4 classes away from graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Communications. This will be my first trip overseas and I'm beyond excited, nervous, and ready to find myself on this incredible journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I think it's really important to meet locals and get advice from people who live where you want to travel. I think that meeting locals will be a huge benefit in learning the ways of their culture and finding out the hidden gems in any given city, something you won't find at a hotel.

Interests

I love to snowboard and going to music festivals on the West Coast. My dog is my best friend and I love to help heal people with my positive energy and open mind. Helping people is a passion of mine! Photography is another major passion in my life and one day I hope to shoot photographs for National Geographic.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love dance music, 90's music of all sorts and just things with good beats and positive messages. The Alchemist is a fantastic book about following your dreams and goals and doing whatever it takes to reach them. Europe is one of those dreams so now is the time to make it happen!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hitchhiked to British Columbia Canada from Boulder, Colorado for a festival and it was a journey I'll never forget. The people I met along the way gave me hope of a positive life and really showed me theres still good people in the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Really awesome stories and listening ears. I want to learn everything I can and really soak up what this world has to offer. I can help clean and cook some really awesome American Dishes! I smile a lot and we all know how contagious that can be so be prepared hosts, you'll smile and laugh a lot if you're willing to let me stay. I'm also very clean and pick up after myself.
