ABOUT ME

I currently work at a community college as a Dean and enjoy swapping stories and sharing experiences with travelers. I am an avid marathoner and nature enthusiast.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm somewhat blinded by the good in people and have the tendency to evaluate things in a positive light, even when things may seem overwhelming negative. I am not religious but, I'm somewhat spiritual. I feel rejuvenated and at complete peace, when immersed in nature. Lastly, I try to reciprocate the good fortune I have experienced throughout my life, with hopes of positively impacting others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted a few folks and had a great time :). I've been on quite the hiatus from CS, but I am looking to re-engage with the community.

My taste in music, books, and movies is very eclectic. I can appreciate most genre's and don't have a particular preference.

Teach, Learn, Share

Through classroom and service learning I've learned about the inequalities that stem from privilege and the discrepancies between those with privilege and those without.

I have a strong passion for social justice and serving underrepresented groups. Moreover, I crave cultural experiences, whether it be through learning or immersion, I highly value cultural diversity.
