About Me

I am a 28-year-old guy who believes that travel is a must in life. I grew up in a traditional small town, Beigang, in mid-south Taiwan. I've travelled to the United States, Ireland, Edinburgh, England, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Germany, Denmark, South Korea and Singapore.

I've always enjoyed sharing life with my hosts as you can see from my references. What really matters to me is that many of them come to visits me in Taiwan after my travel.

When I left my hometown to college and to the United States for the exchange program, I had been thinking: how can I give back to the society where I am raised, educated and inspired to be who I am today.

Travel always gives me time and space to reflect on myself to move forward toward where I want to be in the end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time traveling to Japan. I had a 3-month long trip in Europe two years ago and had not traveled abroad much afterwards. I really want to know more the "local culture" in Japan through couchsurfing.

Couchsurfing is the best way to meet the amazing people during travel. We share each others' stories so we get to know more about the culture, people, food, ect. of a place where we would never go to in our life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, it was my first time travelled and couchsurfed in Europe. I still remember the excitement when I met the first host and stayed with him for a week. Although I didn't think couchsurfing would give me any amazing experience at first, I realized the wonderful relationships built in the end.
