ABOUT ME

Hello! I am an American currently living in Bogotá, Colombia where I’ve been teaching English for the past year. Before that I was teaching science in the US, although I studied International Politics...it’s a long story that I am happy to share in person. I finished my contract in Bogota in June and I have been traveling in Colombia and Mexico ever since. I think meeting people from the area and having good conversations is the way to bridge virtually all culture gaps, so I am always up for a good conversation and a cup of tea or coffee.

Hola! Soy Americana pero ahora vivo en Bogota, Colombia en donde he estado enseñando inglés por un año. Antes de Colombia enseñé ciencias en los Estados Unidos, aunque estudié políticas internacionales...es una historia larga que puedo contar sobre una cerveza o café :-). Acabó mi contrato de trabajo en junio y ahora estoy viajando por Latinoamérica. En mi opinión, conocer a la gente y tener buenas conversaciones con un café o te es la mejor manera de conectarnos

I started CS in Chile with a friend and I loved it so much that I opened a profile of my own! For me, meeting new people is the best part of any trip and CS is the perfect way to do that.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I climbed Volcan Villarrica in Pucon, Chile, and the view from the top was one of the most awe inspiring things I have ever seen. The physical accomplishment combined with the reward of staring down into the belly of something as raw as an active volcano was once in a lifetime. It also helped that we got to sled the whole way down.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love to cook and share experiences over food, and I am pretty good at making the American classics (hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, pancakes, etc. ). I would love to learn to cook new dishes! I am also an English teacher, so I can help with language learning
