Hello, couchsurfers!
I am new to the CS community so please excuse the lack of references.

I'm a Canadian lass who group up in Mexico, went to university in Canada, and am now in the Netherlands doing my last semester abroad.
Life is hectic right now; almost finishing up my bachelors, trying to see as much of Europe as I possibly can in the 4 months I'm here, and then in September I'm moving to New Zealand for a year to work and travel.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Always looking to meet people in every city I go to. The best way to see a new place is through the eyes of a local. I love making connections and learning from everyone I meet.

I am unfortunately unable to host at the moment, but come October I will be in New Zealand and ready to welcome new friends!

Animals, education, and taking sub-par pictures that don't accurately reflect the beauty of the new sites I'm seeing.
The more I travel the more I become interested in local culture, so that is something I try to dive into wherever I go.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I like those pretty obscure bands that you feel douchey telling people about because it's always like "oh I really like the Rural Alberta Advantage but you've PRObably never heard of them". I also really enjoy top 40 type music to get my energy up.
For movies I like the usual Star Wars, LOTR, Harry Potter, etc. Basically anything that doesn't make me check how long until it's over. I of course enjoy comedy (if someone says they don't like comedy movies I automatically question the kind of person they are). I love sci-fi and thrillers. I do enjoy scary movies as long as I have someone to watch with.
Mostly just read travel books these days.

I've done lots of pretty cool things! Volunteered with dolphins in Mexico, done some neat research, sold everything and moved to the Netherlands for 4 months with the intention of moving to New Zealand afterwards and then spending 2 months in SE Asia. Getting to travel alone is also pretty amazing.

I'm not quite sure what to put here. I like to think I'm intelligent and have some valuable knowledge to pass on to people I meet, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.
