ABOUT ME

I love to love, I love to be alive.

I AM IN LOVE !!!

I have lived in different places in Turkey and most recently landed in Istanbul in 2011 for a primary school teaching position. I spend a lot of time working but when I have free time I like to spend it enjoying time with family and friends. You can often find me exploring the streets of Istanbul with others or gathered around a table full of delicious food (that I likely cooked!).

I am full of energy but also very relaxed. I love to laugh and be around happy people.

Nobody knows what life is going to bring us, there is no guarantee for tomorrow or even for two minutes later. The only thing that I believe is the lord blesses generous ones who have conscience and honour. And when you make the others life easier and better, your life is going to be the best...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In addition to hosting travelers I attend local events like walks and English speaking groups (I am told my English is very good but I want to improve). I am relatively new to the community and have really enjoyed getting to know other open minded people interested in getting to know other cultures. I love meeting new people and couchsurfing is a good way to do this. I plan to couchsurf when I travel in the future.

Learn: I want to improve my English and understand other cultures. I don't know what I don't know so teach me! Oh and if you have any tips on how to win the lottery please let me know.

Teach: I have lots of interests and so have experience in many things. Like how to get a classroom of 40+ children to listen to you. How to raise nice sons. How to fit 48 hours of activity into a 24 hour day. I can even show you where to find the best fish sandwich in Istanbul.
