About Me
Hi, fellow travelers!
After many years hunkered down with work and school, I decided to take an online program to give me freedom to feed my adventurous spirit and go travelling. I love music, dancing, culture exchange, sharing a meal, and soul-enriching conversations. Being a nature lover, I am most happy gazing out at the ocean or meandering through a forest. I'm a bubbly ambivert that enjoys conversation but can just as easily be in silence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect with like-minded folks while I travel and share in the adventure. I find connecting with others grounding, especially when in unfamiliar context. I value connecting with the cultures and land that I visit and learning from locals and other travellers as a part of that experience. Sharing in adventures is always funner when you make friends along the way.
I hope to connect with other travellers- go for hikes, visit cool sites, share stories, etc. I'm a musician and am always down for jamming, sharing a meal, hot
springs, laughs, and good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 22, I entered a video competition to win a ticket to "Jungle Camp"- a transformational camp program for adults at Punta Mona, an off-grid solar powered farm and regenerative educational centre in Costa Rica. I wrote an original song for my video submission and won the contest and embarked on my first international solo travel from Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be a bodywork therapist, so I'm happy to share my knowledge of the human musculature and teach some self-massage tricks I've learnt to keep joints and muscles (relatively) happy!
I love learning new languages, culture, and history.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Canadian culture, Persian culture, happy to cook and share a meal. If we can find the right ingredients, I can cook you some Persian food!
Social justice issues from a Canadian context, my knowledge of bodywork therapy, conversation beyond small talk, and a listening ear.
