I'm a 19 year old student at Maastricht University and I am studying at the Maastricht Science Programme. I am originally from Suriname but have lived in Cuba for the past 5 years. I love traveling and learning about new cultures and languages. I hope to do a Eurotrip at some point. At the moment I am enjoying the the uni life in Maastricht.

I enjoying listening to music, string at the ocean at sunset, go for long walks, party like crazy, reading, painting (even though I absolutely suck). I also like to write from time to time, mostly about event occurring around me.

I found out about this website recently and decided to join as I find it fascinating to meet new people and learn about their experience and culture. Another reason I joined is because, now that I am in Europe I would like to travel and discover every bit of it and meeting new people through this site, while doing that seems like a great idea.

Centres d'intérêt

I am interested in Medicine. I would like to be a Cardio-thoracic surgeon someday.
I also intend to do some volunteering work for children with cancer and elderly people with disabilities. I have experienced both of these cases in a very personal manner and it has touched my heart. So I would like to do something and help, one way or another.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have endless lists but I like to listen to Lana Del Rey, Oscar and the Wolf, Florence and the machines, Daddy Yankee, Romeo Santos and a million more. i honestly listen to any type of music as long as I find it appealing.

Movies.... I have watched too many but Im really bad at remembering names so :/

Books: My favourite book happens to be one I read when I was a child and I still seem to love it. It's called "Alleen op de wereld" (Dutch), "Sans Famille" (French), "Nobody's boy" (English)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I spent friday afternoons watching cartoons and making drawings with children (0-18 yrs) with cancer. The smile you get to see on their faces is priceless.
