Hi there! My name is Shayna and I'm a 25 year old American female who is about to leave a 3 year office job and embark in a very unplanned journey abroad to New Zealand. My interests include but are not limited to volleyball, comedy, combatting all the -isms (racism, sexism, etc), beaches/waterfalls, other water-related adventures, and traveling for vegan food.

I'm new to Couchsurfing, but I'm really hoping that I'll be able to find some vegan/vegetarian hosts to hang out with when I'm traveling in NZ. This is a big undertaking for me and my plan is to be here for a year, so meeting locals right away I have something (or things) in common with would be amazing, and I would be so grateful to stay with you.
