I've spent my life reading books to travel into lives and worlds so different from everything I have known. After graduating from college, having spent the past for years reading, writing and discussing things I know so little about, traveling, and seeing the worlds which stories I have loved take place in, seems like the right next step.

Outside of reading, I love to take photographs and draw, and am compelled by the idea that there are things which words can inadequately speak. I look forward to meeting people from all around the world!!

To meet people, to eat other food, to dance on unfamiliar floors; these seem to be the best means to understand myself in the context of the world these days.

Interests

I love anything outside!! I grew up in a small town with more cows than people, as a result, I have always been the happiest when hiking, walking, running, sledding, swimming or just reading outside!!

I also love things composed of stories, whether it is books, plays, dancing, paintings or music, I love the way that lives and stories twist into one another.

Music: Everything from 90s R&B to Indie Folk Revival!! I love Ziggy Alberts, Ben Howard, Alabama Shakes, The Head and the Heart, First Aid Kit, etc etc

Movies: I've never been good at not talking through the movie, but I love anything that makes me laugh!! Little Miss Sunshine and Never Been Kissed are some of my favorites!!

Books: Anything and everything that is around!! My favorites are Don Quixote, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Americanah and The Goldfinch, but I'm always open to read anything!!
